Kapoosh UV Sanitizing Waste Bin
The unique Kapoosh™ UV sanitizing waste bins work to eliminate odors and sanitize. Five AA rechargeable batteries and a UL approved AC adapter/charger included. Once charged, the bin can standby for five days. The sanitary bins feature a hands-free lid and removable bin liner, along with recessed bin handles. The bins also slip resistant and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The UV lamp works to eliminate odors and microorganisms by creating ozone gas inside the waste receptacle. Ozone, a form of oxygen (O3), may have a scent similar to weak chlorine, and works as a powerful oxidizing agent. Once the lid is closed, the UV light activates to begin eliminating odors immediately.
